In 2007, Mia Munselle stumbled upon her first yoga class and immediately fell in love with the movement and flow of Vinyasa. At that time, her children were very young and getting to classes wasn’t always easy. For years she practiced yoga alone at home with online videos, while always craving the collective energy of studio classes. As her children grew, so did her yoga practice and desire to learn more. Nearly 10 years later, Mia received her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification from YogaWorks, a nationally renowned training program. Mia is thrilled to teach and practice yoga in the town in which she lives, while sharing the joy and deep sense of peace that yoga has brought to her life. Mia’s classes focus on safe alignment, the union of breath and movement, and offer encouragement for students of all levels to breathe deeper and find their own practice, not perfection.
