Kate is so deeply thankful to continue to teach focused and fun Pilates Mat classes at Yoga on Center.  She first discovered Pilates through being a life-long dancer, and for rehabilitation from a knee injury in 1999.  She became certified to teach Pilates Mat classes in 2006 by Monica Anderson, in Santa Rosa. Her classes are centered around continuous breath which facilitates focus, cultivating deep and balanced strength, and easy flow of movement in the body; all of this contributing to improved balance, strength, and posture in our lives.  She is honored to be currently continuing her education and inspiration of Pilates with Mark and Rosie of Centerpoint Pilates.  Kate’s classes begin with a meditative tone, and are infused with colorful imagery and a continuous flow of engaging exercises.
